Orlando Pirates shot-stopper Richard Ofori has been included in the 27-man Ghana squad by head coach Otto Addo ahead of the 2022 Fifa World Cup African Qualifiers Playoffs against Nigeria.
Ofori returns to the Black Stars squad after missing the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon earlier this year due to an injury.
The 28-year-old goal-minder has played six games across all competitions for the Buccaneers in the current season.
Ghana will battle it out with the Super Eagles in two matches scheduled for Kumasi and Abuja respectively, as the search for a ticket to Qatar 2022 looms large.
Addo’s side will welcome Nigeria at the Baba Yara Sports stadium on Friday, March 25 for the first leg, before travelling to Abuja for the second leg on Tuesday, March 29.
