Liverpool interested in signing Senegalese international Sarr

Senegalese international Ismaila Sarr is on Liverpool’s radar as coach Jurgen Klopp looks to bolster his attacking options for the 2022/23 season.

The 24-year-old attacker has been linked with Liverpool in the past and with, and the Reds are reportedly keen to sign Sarr as the future of Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane, and Roberto Firmino remains uncertain.

The trio will be out of contract in June 2023.

Sarr penned a deal with Watford from Rennes in 2019 and has scored 24 goals and provide17 assists in 86 matches.

He will be on national duty when Senegal tackle Egypt in back-to-back 2022 Fifa World Cup qualifiers against Egypt on March 25, with the return leg set to take place four days later.

The Watford star will then have an opportunity to impress and showcase his abilities to his potential suitors, Liverpool, when his team travel to Anfield to face Liverpool on Saturday 2 April.
