Mweene returns to Zambia for goalkeeping coaching clinics

Mamelodi Sundowns goalkeeper Kennedy Mweene is in North Western province of Zambia for goalkeeping coaching clinics.

Mweene arrived in his native country at the invitation of Super League side Kansanshi Dynamos.

The 37-year-old goalkeeper was introduced to the team during Friday’s training session.

He then exchanged notes with Kansanshi Dynamos head coach Boyd Mulwanda and physical trainer Dornwell Yobe.

There were familiar faces for Mweene as he spotted chatting with Davy Daka and Bruce Musakanya.

The trio occasionally shared the same dressing room at an international level with Zambia.

For the next six days, Mweene is expected to drill Kansanshi goalkeepers Scotch and Edward Mwanza.

Mweene’s interaction will not be just limited to Kansanshi but to other team like Trident, Quattro and Lumwana Radiants.

“He is also expected to interact with a few from Eden University National League as well as Ladies teams in Solwezi and Kalumbila Districts respectively,” read a statement from Kansanshi Dynamos.
