Algerian FA lodge complaint to Fifa following Cameroon loss
The Algerian Football Federation has lodged a complaint with Fifa demanding a rematch of the 2022 Fifa World Cup African Qualifiers return leg against Cameroon.
The Federation claimed that the Gambian referee, Bakary Gassama made an error in ruling out Algeria’s first goal.
The North Africans suffered a 2-1 defeat to the Indomitable Lions, which saw their World Cup hopes end, as Cameroon won on away goal rule (2-2 on aggregate).
