Prals Games aimed at developing kasi stars
It’s all systems go as the ‘Prals Easter Games’ football tournament roars to life this weekend at D-Ground in Palmridge, Katlehong.
The tournament kicks off on Saturday [2 April 2022], and will run till Sunday. Prals Organisation is a non-profit organisation based in Palmridge, East Rand. The organisation, established in 2019, hosts football tournaments and aims to develop amateur soccer players from the townships.
Many up-and-coming players have been spotted by scouts in tournaments hosted by Prals.
Players such as Tlotliso Phatisi, Avumile Mxakaza and Katlego Mkhabela now play for Free State Stars.
Lebogang Phiri turns out for Hungry Lions, while Thato Kena is a Marumo Gallants player.
Prals treasurer-general Siviwe Ngeno called on sponsors to support their football events in an effort to change lives through the game.
Ngeno said vendors were welcome to come sell goods at the tournaments as they are good for business.
