Advocate Nazeem JC has been appointed to be the Arbitrator in the BCM Stars, SA Spear of the Nation and Safa matter in line with Article 81.4 of the Safa Disciplinary Code.
The matter will be heard today at the Safa House at 17h00 and will be presided by Adv. Nazeem.
This comes after Safa Eastern Cape Disciplinary Committee postponed the provincial playoffs indefinitely due to the ongoing case that ensued on a game between BCM and Spears.
The Disciplinary Committee had handed down its judgment on an abandoned first leg of the provincial playoff tie, with the verdict’s outcome ruling in favour of Spears, who were awarded three points.
However, in a turn of events, BCM went ahead to pursue an appeal against the ruling, citing that they will “not surrender into injustice”.
