Ramovic not feeling under pressure

Sead Ramovic claims he does not feel under any extra pressure despite TS Galaxy being in a relegation dog fight.

The German mentor is confident that he will steer the Rockets to safety, with two games left to play.

Galaxy are placed 14th on the DStv Premiership table after 28 league matches and they managed to accumulate 26 points in the process.

As things stand, any team can still survive or get relegated from position 12 to 16.

After suffering a 2-0 defeat to Cape Town City at DHL Stadium this past Saturday, Ramovic noted that he is ready to face pressure.

“I enjoy the pressure because I’m the type of person that enjoys taking responsibility,” Ramovic stated.

“I’ve played all my life under pressure. I’ve faced pressure my whole life. Football is all about pressure. The pressure that we have in the football world is not compared to other types of jobs in the world.

“We should embrace pressure and work hard. That is going to be key to getting success.”

The Mpumalanga-based outfit will lock horns with Marumo Gallants on Saturday, 14 May at home with the kick-off set for 15:00 in the afternoon.

A win for Galaxy against Bahlabane Ba Nthwa might prove vital for survival as the 2021/22 Premier Soccer League campaign is reaching its climax.

“We have to work hard. We have to get that self-belief back. We will analyze our next opponents. We will come up with the proper game plan. We are ready for the tough fight, ” he added.

Ramovic’s side will play their last game of the season against fellow relegation candidate Chippa United away from home on May 21.
