Bafana Bafana head coach Hugo Broos has announced his squad to face Morocco in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon) qualifiers on Thursday, 9 June 2022.
The game is scheduled to take place at Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat.
South Africa are drawn in Group K, which includes Liberia, while the fourth team, Zimbabwe, is suspended from international tournaments and won’t participate in the qualifiers.
Broos streamed his 37 players provisional squad to a 23-man squad.
The players that have been excluded by the Belgian mentor are Brandon Petersen, Siyabonga Ngezana, Luke Fleurs, Athenkosi Mcaba, Thabani Zuke, Aubrey Modiba, Fortune Makaringe, Thabang Monare, Lebohang Maboe, Jesse Donn, Mduduzi Mdantsane, Thapelo Morena, Pule Mmodi and Keagan Dolly.
