Ramovic not ‘naive’ about Galaxy’s situation
TS Galaxy coach Sead Ramovic does not get carried away by the great relationship he shares with club chairman Tim Sukazi and insists he takes the current situation seriously. Galaxy are at position 12 in the DStv Premiership with two matches remaining but are not yet out of relegation danger.
On Wednesday evening, they played to a 1-1 draw against Sekhukhune United at Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane. Sukazi has come out on numerous occasions raving about the impact Ramovic has had since he arrived in 2021.
TS GALAXY LEAGUE SITUATION STILL A CONCERN
The German-born mentor admitted that as much as he shares a special relationship with Sukazi, he can not be naive about the unsafety of the club.
“We’re not naive. We can also see the log table,” he told journalists.
‘We also know that anything can happen down there. So we have to be careful. But the good thing is that we have everything in our hands. So, we will play two more games.
“As we played in the last three or four games, it’s a big chance to get some points against the next two opponents,” he added.
SEAD RAMOVIC ON SPECIAL RELATIONSHIP WITH TIM SUKAZI
“So all in all, we have a great relationship [with Tim Sukazi], but it doesn’t mean that we don’t have to do work. I know we have [a great relationship], but a job is a job, and private issues are private
“We work 24 hours to improve every single player, and I think when you see where the players were one and half season. They improved a lot, and I am just happy about me, my staff and everybody that works with players every day.”
Galaxy will take on Chippa United in their next match, where a win would secure their safety ahead of next season.
