AmaTuks upbeat ahead of Richards Bay top of the table clash

AmaTuks captain John Tshabalala has no doubt that his troops will topple Richards Bay at the summit of the GladAfrica Championship when the two sides meet this afternoon (15:00).

The top of the table clash is set for the Tuks Stadium with only a point separating the two teams.

The KwaZulu-Natal outfit has a fight on its hands as AmaTuks are not the only challengers for the automatic promotion spot. The top-five teams in the GladAfrica Championship are separated by only four points heading into game week 26.

“It won’t be an easy game, but surely we are going to get those three points,” said a confident Tshabalala.

“Even Richards Bay they need the points, but we have to go there and grind. We are playing at home, and the supporters will give us strength.”

Meanwhile, AmaTuks defender Kaketso Majadibodu added: “Everyone is in good spirits, and we are looking forward to the game.

“It is exciting and what makes me happy is the fact that the players are excited about the game,” he said.

“And as footballers, these are the games we need to look forward to, and it is encouraging to see the good energy from the guys.”
