Bafana Bafana international Ethan Brooks has expressed his excitement to play alongside Amazulu FC goalkeeper Veli Mothwa. Usuthu snapped up Brooks from TS Galaxy and Zambian international Rally Bwalya from Tanzania side Simba.
The 21 year-old midfielder is itching to get going at the Durban-based side and welcomes the competition at the team.
“I’m really happy to be going to Amazulu Football Club, a club full of heritage and a very competitive team, that also really excite me, to be part of the team for the 2022/23 season. There are some guys I know in the team such as Veli Mothwa who I’ve been with in the national team and I can’t wait to share the change room with these guys[Amazulu players].” the former TS Galaxy star said on the club official site.
The Brandon Truter’s charges have been busy in the transfer window having already signed Dumisane Zulu, Gabadinho Mhango, Tendo Mukumela, Veluyeke Zulu, Augustine Kwen and Riaan Hanamun as the team looks to challenge for trophies in the upcoming DStv Premiership Championship season.
