Bizana Pondo Chiefs co-coach resigns

Eastern Cape ABC Motsepe League outfit Bizana Pondo Chiefs have confirmed the departure of their co-coach, Motlatsi ‘Ntsimbi’ Hloaysi.

Hloaysi tendered his resignation and was relieved of his duties. He was working alongside Tshepo Motsoeneng, who will now steer the side as the head coach alone.

“The Lion Nation would like to wish coach Motlatsi ‘Ntsimbi’ Hloaysi a great success in his future endeavours,” said Bizana Pondo Chiefs in a statement.

Meanwhile, ‘Ntsimbi’ added: “I am grateful to the opportunity of being one of the longest-serving members of Bizana Pondo Chiefs FC. This club will always be in my heart.

“Good luck to the team for the rest of the season.”

Bizana Pondo is currently placed second in Stream A of the Provincial ABC League with 17 points, just two points behind Stream leaders SA Spear of the Nation.

On a fascinating note, the club’s next assignment will be against Spears of Nation on Saturday, 29 January at MT Ayliff Stadium.

The showdown will kick off at 15:00 in the afternoon.
