The President of Confederation of African Football (CAF) Dr Patrice Motsepe, on behalf of the Motsepe Foundation, made a donation of R3 million (US$200 000) at the St Joseph’s Catholic Church in Cameroon.
Motsepe attended the Church service on Sunday Yaounde, the capital city of Cameroon.
He was accompanied by the CAF Secretary General, Mr Veron Mosengo-Omba.
Motsepe has been in Cameroon since the beginning of the Africa Cup of Nations on 9 January.
The 33rd edition of the biennial tournament is underway at the Central African country and will come to an end on Sunday, 6 February.
