The Premier League of eSwatini (PLE) have secured a deal with South Africa’s pay-per-view channel SuperSport to be the official broadcasters of the league.
PLE Chairman Mark Carmichael confirmed the news during the recent special meeting held at Sigwaca House.
The deal will see the organisation rake in a projected income of E10 million (R10.2 million) per season through the broadcast of a weekly show and commercial adverts.
The generated money will be used as grants for both Premier League and National First Division clubs.
eSwatini has reportedly beaten other African countries such as Zimbabwe and Uganda which were reportedly pushing for the same deal.
