Spanish giants Atletico Madrid are on the verge of securing the services of Mozambique international Reinildo Mandava.
Mandava is currently on the books of Ligue 1 champions Lille, and it has been reported that Madrid have agreed on personal terms with the French club to sign the Mozambican left-back.
The 27-year-old’s contract at Lille is set to expire at the end of the season. He has made 87 appearances at the club -winning the league title and French Super Cup.
According to a Spanish publication, Marca.com, Mandava was spotted in Madrid with his agent most recently to pen a deal until June 2026 and complete his medicals.
Mandava has also had stints at Benfica B and Belenenses SAD in Portugal and represented Mozambique on the international stage 31 times with two goals to his name.
