Zambia Super League side, Kansanshi Dynamos have gone separate ways with their head coach Tenant Chilumba and his assistant Happy Sichikolo.
The decision comes after the 5-0 humiliation at home by log leaders Red Arrows over the weekend.
The club confirmed Chilumba’s departure via a statement on Tuesday.
“We are grateful for tenant for what he has achieved in his time as head coach of the club,” read the statement.
“Meanwhile, the contracts of assistant coach John Mukonje, goalkeeper coach Kaoma Chilubanama and assistant physical trainer Kelvin Sichinga have expired and will not be renewed.”
The departure of Chilumba comes hardly six months after his appointment as head coach of the ‘Mabanga Boys’.
The club also confirmed that physical trainer Donwell Yobe will be the interim coach assisted by coaches from the youth team, Elijah Phiri, Nasha Kaaya and Mwape Kasunka.
Dynamos are currently 15th on the log with 20 points from 19 games and they have lost all their last three games.
