TS Galaxy winger Orebotse Mongae says their away tie against Chippa United on Saturday is a must-win match to survive the relegation and avoid participating in the playoffs, describing it as a ‘do or die’ encounter.
The Rockets are positioned 14 on the DStv Premiership log table with 27 points from 29 outings, two points ahead of basement boys Swallows FC and Baroka, who are at par on 25 points.
“The game is crucial; it’s a game of our lives. We’ll give it our all; we just need to make sure that we win; there is no other way; it’s do or die,” said Mongae.
“Pressure will always be there; it is how you handle it that’s what matters. We’ll just make sure that we are ourselves to be comfortable enough and do the things that we know best like our coach always says.”
“Going away it’s not easy; the home team has pressure because they are playing on their home ground. We just have to make sure we snatch something then go back home.”
The 28-year-old further stated that the plan is to avoid participating in the PSL promotion/relegation playoffs.
“It’s important that we avoid the playoffs at all costs because we want to go home, spend time with our families and recover.”
