JVW part ways with Valentine

Hollywoodbets Super League side JVW FC have confirmed the departure of striker, Natalia Valentine.

Natalia joined JVW in 2018 after her stellar performances in the 2017 Local Football Association (LFA) season, winning the Eastern LFA League and finishing as the top goalscorer with 29 goals in 15 matches.

Valentine was part of the Bedfordview-based club in the 2019 Sasol League National Championship squad, that went on to gain promotion to the Super League.

In her football career, she previously played for Luso Africa in the 2009 Sasol League together with her former boss Janine van Wyk, before joining Clayton State University in the United States of America.

The talented frontwoman returned back to South Africa After graduating and took a brief break from the beautiful game to focus on her career outside of the sport.

Meanwhile, the side also bid farewell to their defender Sarah Walker, pictured above, who officially made her way to the U.S to “fulfil a College Scholarship.”

Walker joined JVW in 2019 from Randburg, she managed to win the Sasol League Champs and appeared in the 2021 Super League for the club.
