Kerr wary of All Stars, AmaTuks

Swallows FC coach Dylan Kerr is wary of University of Pretoria and Cape Town All Stars, whom they will battle in the PSL Promotion/Relegation playoffs to maintain their DStv Premiership status.

The Dube Birds survived the automatic relegation on the last day of the season after a 2-2 stalemate against Kaizer Chiefs, which saw Baroka dropping to GladAfrica Championship after losing 1-0 to Maritzburg United.

“We have to survive; it’s not over yet. We got two teams that want to beat Swallows, that want to join the PSL. We are going to make sure they don’t especially home. We got to prepare for the 1st of June, our first game at Dobsonville, which is a must-win and a clean sheet,” said Kerr.

“It’s the first time for me to be in the playoffs. It’s a shame we are here talking about the playoffs on the back of the performances we have had.”

The former TTM coach revealed what should be done if they emerge victorious in the playoffs to ensure that the club returns to its glory and avoids relegation.

“We need to have a plan. We need to have a rule on which way we will go with. We got to sit down and build a structure, build a platform  for this club to never be in this position again.”
