Mpumalanga ABC Motsepe League side BTM Sports FC have acquired the services of Matsebe John Komane as the club’s new head coach.
This comes after the chairman of the club Freddy Mabulane decided to start things afresh following this past weekend’s disturbing pictures of BTM kits getting burned and succumbing to a 1-0 defeat to Mathithiya FC in their league clash.
The chairman has since decided to fire the previous mentor and appoint Komane, who conducted his first training session with the side on Monday afternoon.
According to the club, the new man in charge was supposed to start with his duties from the previous game that they lost against Mathithiya.
Komane’s first assignment will be against Bakoena Chiefs on Saturday, 5 February at Puma Rugby Stadium with the kick-off set for 15:00 in the afternoon.
BTM are currently placed fifth in Stream B of the Provincial ABC League with 14 points after 10 games.
