Chiefs mourn head of security

Kaizer Chiefs is in mourning after the head of security Katang Masemola lost a short battle with diabetes. He was 50.

Masemola was Chiefs’ head of security for 12 years and passed away on Saturday in hospital after being ill for two weeks.

Amakhosi confirmed that they are working with the deceased’s family to assist with the funeral arrangements, and they thanked Katang for his services.

“The Club is working closely with his family to ensure that our beloved colleague receives a befitting send-off,” Chiefs said via their website.

“We thank Katang for his dedication and service to Amakhosi. He will be sorely missed by all of us at Kaizer Chiefs Village. May his soul rest in peace.”
