Daniels returns to CT Spurs

Veteran defender Clayton Daniels has returned to Cape Town Spurs after leaving the the club 10 years ago.

The GladAfrica Championship side confirmed the news on Thursday morning on their socials.

Daniels rose through the development ranks to become an important member of the Urban Warriors back in January 2007 until he made headlines when he signed for Mamelodi Sundowns in August 2011.

The 37-year-old recently parted ways with Maritzburg United after a season and a half at the Team of Choice.

He also represented teams such as Bloemfontein Celtic and SuperSport United.

The defender is one player who could be very useful for Spurs next season given his extensive experience and will expected to help the Cape side gain promotion to the DStv Premiership come next campaign.
