Former Bizana Pondo Chiefs coach finds new home

Eastern Cape ABC Motsepe League side FC Siyanda have appointed former Bizana Pondo Chiefs mentor Motlatsi Hloaysi as the club’s new head coach.

This comes after Hloaysi resigned as Bizana Pondo co-coach last week.

‘Ntsimbi’, as he’s popularly known, started with his first training with the team on Monday morning.

He takes over the coaching reigns at Siyanda from Sihle Makhanya who was appointed as the head coach in November last year.

According to reports, Makhanya did not return to the club after the festive holidays.

Siyanda are currently languishing at the basement of Stream A of the Provincial ABC League with only one point after seven games.

The side’s next assignment will be against SA Spear of the Nation away from home on Saturday, 22 January with the kick-off set for 13h00.
