FS Premier wishes Mathaithai well ahead of Nedbank clash

Free State Premier Sefora Ntombela has wished Mathaithai FC the best of luck ahead of their Nedbank Cup last 32 encounter against NC Professionals.

Mathaithai will lock horns with the Northern Cape side tomorrow at Tafel Lager Park with the kick-off set for 15h00 in the afternoon.

The South African football third-tier side is the only representative of the Free State in the competition. Mathaithai qualified for the last 32 after defeating Limpopo ABC Motsepe League side Mikhado FC 1-0 at Sinaba Stadium in November 2021.

The Premier believes that the club will be able to carry the hopes of the entire province going into the match.

“I wish to take this opportunity to wish Mathaithai Football Club the best of luck for their match against NC Professionals on Saturday, 12th February 2022. We are all rooting for the boys and I am certain that when they take to the field, they will give it their all,” said Premier Ntombela.

“They are a group of hardworking players and there is no doubt in my mind that they will do their very best to advance to the next round of the tournament.

“I can assure the players and all those affiliated with the club that the Free State province is behind you. The players have a tough task ahead of them, but one which they can achieve.

“They must simply work hard on the field of play, but importantly, to enjoy themselves while so doing. On behalf of the people of our province, I wish the club well for their match on Saturday afternoon.”
