Limpopo ABC Motsepe League and drama seem to be two things that we cannot separate, week in and week out.
A fortnight ago, the Provincial League’s board Chairperson Mighty Tjale released a statement citing that all the shenanigans happening in the league will be dealt with accordingly as heads are going to roll. But to our surprise, nothing has changed since then.
This comes after another league match between Mikhado FC and Munaca was abandoned over the weekend at Rabali Stadium.
The game was stopped in the 76th minute when the home side (Mikhado) netted their third goal and things escalated from that point as the opposition side believed it was offside.
According to the away team’s statement (Munaca), the hosts’ chairman instructed the match official to stop the game, with the scoreline still 2-1 in favour of Mikhado.
The matter is now in the hands of the Safa Limpopo Disciplinary Committee for further investigations.
