Romelu Lukaku has re-joined Inter Milan on a season-long loan from Chelsea.
The Blues had paid Inter a club-record £97.5m for the 29-year-old forward last campaign.
But after spells out with injury and illness, he was left out of the starting line-up, having only found the back of the net on 15 occasions across all competitions for Thomas Tuchel’s side last term.
According to reports, it is understood that the Belgian international was willing to take a pay cut to seal a move back to the Italian giants.
“I’m back baby. I am very happy,” Lukaku said in a video on Inter’s official Twitter account.
Meanwhile, the club president Steven Zhang, who was personally involved in the negotiations added: “The big boss is back. It is like deja vu, coming back here again.”
