Our fate is on our hands: TS Galaxy’s Ramovic

TS Galaxy head coach Sead Ramovic has admitted their fate is solely on their hands after playing against Marumo Gallants on Saturday.

Galaxy will need nothing short of a victory to secure their PSL status when they face off against Chippa United in their last match of the season at Nelson Mandela Bay next Saturday.

They are still not out of the murky waters of relegation on 27 points after 29 games, while Baroka and Swallows accumulated 25 points and sit in 15th and 16th positions, respectively.

For the umpteenth time, Ramovic lamented the missed chances, a song he has sung all season.
The Rockets were looking to move out of the bottom three to boost their chances of surviving relegation.

“The thing is, the story of our season again, if you don’t score after these kinds of opportunities, what do you want to expect? Of course, it is not easy to win the games because I think if we had these kinds of chances, we should be able to win the game,” said the German.

With Baroka claiming the much-needed 3-1 victory over Supersport United to push the relegation battle down to the wire, Ramovic knows their survival fate remains in their hands.

“We have the whole thing in our own hands, but again we have to score if we don’t score. It is not good. It would be good if we won today [Saturday], but it’s not over. We have to fight; we have the whole week to prepare,” added former Wolfsburg goalkeeper.
