TS Galaxy boss Tim Sukazi is of the view that his club is one of Kaizer Chiefs’ biggest rivals in South African football.
The two sides have only met on four occasions, but Sukazi has declared Amakhosi as Galaxy’s biggest enemies considering that happened the last time the two teams met in the Nedbank Cup.
Chiefs will lock horns with Galaxy in a repeat of the 20219 Nedbank final, which saw the Mpumalanga-based outfit, then in the second-tier league, shocked many as they beat the Soweto giants at the Moses Mabhida Stadium.
“The football Gods decided that the results of the 2019 final deem us eternal rivals,” said Sukazi.
Amakhosi will be plotting revenge when they host Galaxy on Saturday evening at FNB Stadium.
“We also understand that the country will be divided into two on Saturday, Chiefs vs every other team that isn’t Chiefs and that dynamic raises the magnitude of the game slightly,” concluded Sukazi.
