Eastern Cape ABC Motsepe League outfit Seven Stars FC have secured the services of Mondli Funani as the club’s new head coach.
The new man in charge began with his duties this past weekend with a vital 1-0 win over his former club Bush Bucks.
He also coached the likes of FC Siyanda, where he was appointed as the coach of the side in April 2021.
Funani will be expected to save the club from the sinking ship as they are currently placed eighth in Stream A of the Provincial third-tier with seven points after nine games.
The club’s next assignment will be against Bisho Stars on Saturday, 5 February at NU 2 Stadium with the kick-off set for 15:00 in the afternoon.
