Hollywoodbets Super League matchday 16 continued over the weekend producing yet another set of mouthwatering encounters with goals galore.

TUT Ladies has extended their lead on top of the table with five points to increase their hopes of winning the Super League title while the defending champions Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies were still away in the Hollywoodbets COSAFA Women’s CAF Champions League.

TUT did so by humiliating Durban Ladies with a 6-0 defeat at home. The log leaders’ last four games have been all wins, scoring a whopping 16 goals and only conceding once.

At the basement of the table, things are looking bad for Golden Ladies who are yet to register a win this season. They succumbed to a 3-0 loss to Thunderbirds Ladies away from home.

Tsunami Queens, who registered their first win this campaign, got the better of First Touch FC with a 1-0 scoreline.

Both sides came into this match winless in their last three games, but Tsunami made sure that they use their home-ground advantage to collect maximum points.

The University of Johannesburg continued with their fine form following their 1-0 win over Coal City Wizards, who have failed to win any of their last six games.

Richmond United suffered a 3-1 beating to ambitious JVW FC side, who still find themselves in the title-chasing pack at the top of the table.

JVW are currently placed second on the log standings with 32 points, just five points a drift of leaders TUT. On Sunday, Bloemfontein Celtics who hasn’t lost a game in its last four matches, managed to secure a 1-0 slender win over Vasco Da Gama.

The Cape Town club have conceded 32 goals this season but have tried to tighten things at the back but luck is just not on their side.

Meanwhile, the weekend’s final game saw a clash between UWC and City Lads Ladies, who have picked up just two wins all season.

UWC defeated City Lads with a 2-0 scoreline to climb up the log standings. As things stand, the side finds itself in the third position on the table with 32 points after 14 outings.
