FARPost has been reliably informed that Limpopo-based club Baroka have decided against signing striker Abdul Fatawu Safiu.
The 27-year-old was last in the books of Swedish club Trelleborgs.
He arrived at Baroka Village in Limpopo on Sunday and was expected to start his trial on Monday, but did not.
It’s unclear what led to the u-turn but this publication has gathered that it could be due to medical reasons
Meanwhile, striker Lungelo ‘Mbesuma’ Nguse is back training with the club.
Nguse was on loan at GladAfrica Championship side TS Sporting.
