Relegation-threatened Baroka suffered a huge setback in their quest to save their status following a 3-0 defeat by Marumo Gallants in the DStv Premiership Limpopo derby at Peter Mokaba Stadium on Wednesday evening.
Ndabayithethwa Ndlondlo opened the scoring for the hosts three minutes into the second half via a penalty kick.
Baroka player Bennet Bobete was shown a red card in the 62 minute.
The hosts doubled their lead five minutes later via Joseph Molangoane.
Ndlondlo scored his second to make it 3-0 during referees’ regulation time.
The result doesn’t look good for Baroka who are still stuck at the bottom of the log with 14 points from 21 matches.
Marumo are 11th with 25 points from 20 matches.
