Mkhize pens new CT City deal

Cape Town City captain Thami Mkhize, regarded as one of the club’s important players, has signed a new contract with the Western Cape-based outfit.

Mkhize has put pen to paper on a two-year contract extension, keeping him at CT City until June 2024.

The 33-year-old defender is one of the long-serving players at CT City as he joined the club when it was established back in 2016.

“Cape Town City is delighted to announce the renewal of City captain Thami Mkhize. Skipper signs until June 2024. The journey continues,” said the club in a brief statement on Monday.

The right-back has made over 160 appearances for the Citizens, winning the Telkom Knockout and MTN8 title.
