Pirates told how they can transition Radiopane

Orlando Pirates starlet Boitumelo Radiopane made his senior team debut during the last Carling Black Label final.

Since then, the youngster from the Vaal has not made much progress in the PSL and a former Pirates player and coach Teboho Moloi has told the club how they can transition the 19-year-old to senior taam football.
Moloi, who made his Bucs debut at 18, believes the club needs to trust the free-scoring Radiopane in the coming season.

He believes Radiopane needs to be tried and tested at topfight football level for a longer period – considering his top performance in the Multichoice Diski Challenge.

“It will take a brave coach to give this youngster a chance. It would be wise to give him topflight football experience with Orlando Pirates’ senior team, at least for six months to see how he adapts against the big boys.

“Afterwards they can loan him to a smaller PSL club or onto the Glad Africa Championship,” he told FARPost.

Moloi, a tricky winger during his playing days, has followed Radiopane with keen interest for a while.
“He’s brilliant, he finds the net and he’s a strong boy. He’s player that could potentially show up for the senior team.

“If surrounded by players like Thembinkosi Lorch, Linda Mntambo and Vincent Pule he can quickly adapt to contributing to the senior team,” Moloi added.

Crowned MDC player of the season after sinking an impressive 25 goals in 27 appearances, the Bucs prodigy is tipped to become a top striker.
