Ramovic reacts to TS Galaxy’s good start

TS Galaxy coach Sead Ramovic says he is happy with team’s decent good start to the 2022/23 DStv Premiership season.

In three games, The Rockets have accumulated seven points out of a possible nine and kept three cleansheets.

In the previous season, the team had a slow start with just two points in the same number of matches.

He, however, predicts a difficult season ahead and has warned his charges not to get carried away as it is still early days.

“We are happy about the good start, but its just three games. We have to stay humble, calm, continue to work hard and get some more points. In the last half of the season we also did well and stayed in the league,” Ramovic told the media.

“We just have to take it step by step and the guys know. Its just three games now, the season is tough and we have to fight till the end of the season.”

“We have to give out our best to get more points. I’m proud of my players, proud of my team on how they’ve worked hard.”

The German mentor further highlighted that keeping his squad intact during the transfer window and adding few experienced players like Sbusiso Vilakazi, Xola Mlambo has helped the team to perform better.

“We kept the whole team then added a few experienced players. Every player we wanted to keep we kept, thanks to our chairman. It makes it now easy, they now have this kind of winning mentality in them.”

“The players know how we want to play, if we changed 15 players in and out, then we start again from zero,” he added.

The 43-year-old will be hoping his troops continue where they left off last time out after a victory over SuperSport United. The Mpumalanga outfit take on Golden Arrows on Saturday. Kickoff at Princess Magogo Stadium is at 3pm.
