Safranko cautious of tough Royal AM side

Mamelodi Sundowns striker Pavol Safranko insists it is in the club’s DNA to win games, and that’s what they intend to do when they face Royal AM in their last match of the season this coming Saturday.

Masandawana will be officially handed their DStv Premiership trophy at Chatsworth Stadium, their fifth title in a row.

The 27-year-old, who has netted nine goals since he arrived in South Africa at the beginning of the season, says he came to the country to score goals, and that’s what he wants to do on Saturday.

“I think we are facing a team which will fight very hard for a good spot at the table,” said Safranko.

“Royal AM defence are good and are quite physical, strong guys even when we played them in the semifinal of the Nedbank they gave us a tough time but yeas we have to keep focused on ourselves and I hope we can beat them.

“I am sure Royal AM will not be an easy opponent, but what is in our DNA is to win games, and we will try to do our best like I said, I came here to score goals, and I will also try to score.”
