The three questions Ramovic has posed to TS Galaxy players

TS Galaxy head coach Sead Ramovic has challenged his troops to ask themselves three questions ahead of the new season following their poor run last campaign, which saw them surviving relegation on the last day of the Dstv Premiership matches.

The first question is, how can I get better? Secondly, have I achieved my full potential? And lastly, what can I do to get there? These are the questions that the German mentor posed to his players as he demanded more from them.

Ramovic assured the Rockets’ fans that they won’t be fighting relegation next season and has set his sights on finishing in the top eight.

After six league games last term, the 43-year-old replaced Owen Da Gama with a mandate to save the club from the chop.

“I’ve challenged my players to ask themselves three questions. The first question is, how can I get better? Secondly, have I achieved my full potential? And lastly, what can I do to get there. These are types of questions that we news to ask ourselves every day. If we are honest with ourselves and show commitment, then we will fulfil our goal of finishing in the top eight,” Ramovic told the Rockets’ media.

“Without hard work, it is pointless to talk about anything else. We have to keep on working hard.”

He also expressed how he felt after successfully propelling the Mpumalanga-based outfit to safety.

“The challenge was there. We had to prove ourselves. I’m happy that we achieved our goal to stay in the league. But we have to keep on improving. We have to get to the next step. When I took over, the club lacked the basics. It wasn’t easy, but I have to give credit to the players for how they stuck together and worked hard for the club. A lot of players improved. We are looking forward to the new season,” he divulged.

Meanwhile, the side has bolstered its squad with the signings of frontman Sibusiso Vilakazi and midfielder Xola Mlambo. The duo join Galaxy as free agents after parting ways with their previous clubs.

The Rockets will play their first DStv Premiership game of the season against AmaZulu at Mbombela Stadium on Sunday, 7 August 2022. The kick-off will be at 15:00 in the afternoon.
