Pochettino dismissed as PSG eye Zidane

French giants Paris Saint-Germain have parted ways with Mauricio Pochettino with indications the club is eyeing Zinedine Zidane.

According to The Athletic, PSG have reached an agreement for the Argentinian coach to leave his role after 18 months at the helm.

The two parties reportedly met to review the just ended season which the Ligue 1 side won. However, they were unable to make any progress in the UEFA Champions League won by Real Madrid.

His contract would have expired next year. The former Tottenham coach was linked with Manchester United before the English giants settled for Dutch man Erik Ten Hag.

AS Roma coach Jose Mourinho was also linked with PSG job.
