Royal AM have signed Bandile Dlamini from SAB League side, Umlazi Trouble Tigers.

“Bandile ‘Kenene’ Dlamini is officially a ROYAL AM player,” read the amateur side’s statement.

“We are proud of you boy and the rest of Trouble Tigers players.”

Tigers gained promotion to the SAB League last December under the tutelage of Bright Mpulo.

The side also managed to reach the semifinals of the Engen Champ of Champs last year, where they lost to the tournament’s winners Jomo Cosmos and Chippa United in the 3rd and 4th place playoff.

The Umlazi club is also known for producing lots of football stars who have participated in the DStv Premiership and GladAfrica Championship; the likes of Sanele Gaxa, Njabulo Ngcobo, Notha Ngcobo, Siyanda Msani, Nhlakanipho Ntuli, Nkosingiphile Mtambo, Sifundo Jaca and Monwabisi Mwandla.

Dlamini became the second player to be signed by the KZN-based outfit from an amateur club after the acquisition of Bokamoso Ramoshoane from Free State ABC Motsepe League side Excelsior United.
