Royal AM have confirmed the signing of the former Mamelodi Sundowns defender, Ricardo Nascimento.
The 35-year-old centre back joins the KwaZulu-Natal side as a free agent after parting ways with Sundowns.
Last week, FARPost reported that the Brazilian international had been deregistered by the DStv Premiership defending champions to make a way for newly signed Bolivian star, Erwin Saavedra.
“We are making our intentions very very clear as to what is it that we want to archive, obviously we need to start by stabilizing the defence and we cannot wait to play our first match,” said AM in a statement.
“Welcome home Ricardo Nascimento.”
