Stage set for Sasol League

The stage is set for the 2022 Sasol League, which gets underway on Saturday, 23 April.

With 16 teams in each province, the South African football semi-professional women’s league gives over 3600 female footballers the opportunity to participate in regular competitive football throughout the year.

Teams have had an extended break and can’t wait to commence the new campaign off to a thrilling start.

Since its inception, the league has been instrumental in broadening the talent pool for the national women’s football teams (U-17, U-20 and Banyana Banyana).

At the end of the season, two teams will be promoted to the Hollywoodbets Super League after battling it out at the National Championships.
