AmaZulu FC have tied down two of their promising talents, Wandile Dube and Andiswa Sithole, after triggering options on their respective contracts, FARPost can reveal.
Usuthu have secured the future of Sithole and Dube as they prepare for the 2026/27 Betway Premiership season, shutting the door on losing the duo as free transfers.
The KZN-based side is already preparing for the upcoming campaign with the aim of competing for trophies with big clubs such as Mamelodi Sundowns, Orlando Pirates, and Kaizer Chiefs.
Under the leadership of former Chiefs tactician Arthur Zwane, AmaZulu turned into one of the most competitive sides in the Betway Premiership last term.
Having taken over the hot seat as sole head coach in February 2025, Zwane guided Usuthu to a commendable fourth-place finish on the log, accumulating 47 points from 30 outings. While it was a strong campaign for the Durban side, they narrowly missed out on securing a top-three finish, which would have guaranteed them a ticket to the CAF Confederation Cup next season.

With Zwane looking to continue building a strong team at AmaZulu, the club hierarchy has started making adjustments to the squad in preparation for the next campaign.
FARPost has learnt that the Sandile Zungu-owned team has taken options on the contracts of defender Wandile Dube and midfielder Andiswa Sithole, who played nine and 20 matches respectively last campaign.
The duo’s existing contracts at AmaZulu would have ended on the 30th of June 2026, but the club has moved swiftly to extend them for another season.
Interestingly, Dube has reportedly attracted interest from Pirates, having proven his defensive qualities in the club’s DStv Diski Challenge side before gaining promotion to the senior team.
