Upington City, Madrid to battle out in NC Motsepe League Playoffs

Upington City and Real Madrid will lock horns in the Northern Cape ABC Motsepe League Playoffs set to take place on Sunday, 22 May 2022.

The much-anticipated mouthwatering showdown is scheduled to kick-off at 14:00 in Postmasburg.

City were crowned the provincial Stream A winners with 40 points, just one point ahead of second-placed NC Professionals.

Meanwhile, Madrid were declared Stream B champions after finishing top of the table with 34 points, two points adrift Colville United, who occupied the second spot.

The home and away system will not be used, as it will be a one leg match to determine the provincial winner.

The winner will represent Northern Cape at the ABC Motsepe League National Playoffs.
