Western Cape ABC Motsepe League outfit Norway Parks Magic has secured a Sasol League status from Milano Ladies.
The side will continue using the Milano Ladies franchise name until they can change the name to The Magic Ladies.
The club is currently based in Grassy Park, a suburb in Cape Town.
“The Magic Pty Ltd has purchased a Sasol League franchise – we will play under the Milano Ladies Franchise name for now until we can change the name to The Magic Ladies,” read the statement.
“Girls’ football has been on the rise in recent years, and we are blessed to have some of the superstars of local Women’s football advising us and working with us to make sure we can do our best to help develop the game and develop the players.
“Football gives hope to so many people, and it creates pathways and opportunities – we want to be part of that journey for our young players.
“We also have amazing partners and sponsors and a few in the pipeline who share our vision of developing great people through our football development program.”
