La Masia midfielder Ronald Wee attracts interest from PSL top-flight

La Masia midfielder Ronald Wee is understood to have attracted interest from one of the top-flight clubs in the PSL.

With the July/August transfer window on the doorstep, clubs have started looking around for what could be their acquisitions for the next campaign.

The 2024 June registration period promises to be a busy window in South African domestic football. Several reports of expected moves have started making rounds.

A handful of DStv Premiership clubs didn’t do well in the 2023/24 season. And they will look to rebuild their squad to bounce back in the next campaign.

One of La Masia’s midfielders, Wee, is said to be on the radar of an unnamed club in the PSL top-flight.

He spent only one season with Lions of the North between 2017 and 2018.Wee played an integral role, helping La Masia gain promotion to the Motsepe Foundation Championship at the start of the 2022/23 season.They lifted the National Playoffs title after beating Magesi FC in the final. The match was held at Olen Park in North West.He was in the starting line-up that played Mamelodi Sundowns in the Nedbank Cup Round of 16 at the Dobsonville Stadium.Last season, he was heavily linked with a switch to AmaZulu FC following the exit of Makhehlene Makhaula.
