The ABC Motsepe League returned for the second round in KwaZulu-Natal over the weekend after the festive break.
With the season reaching its halfway mark, goals were the order of the day as we witnessed GWP Friends hammering EThekwini Coastal 4-2 in Stream B of the Provincial ABC Motsepe League, where we saw the former Golden Arrows midfielder Thanduyise Khuboni scoring his first goal for GWP.
Meanwhile, Stone Breakers were bad travellers to Summerfield Dynamos, having succumbed to a disappointing 5-1 defeat in Stream A.
In addition, it doesn’t rain but it pours for Nongoma who suffered a 1-0 loss to Asande. The side is yet to register a win this season as they are currently sitting at the bottom of Stream A with only a point from 12 outings.
