Stellenbosch FC have announced that they have completed the services of midfielder Deano Van Rooyen on a long-term basis.
Van Rooyen joined the Cape club back in the 2016/2017 season during their time in the First National Division.
In the current season, the Stellenbosch-born has been instrumental for Steve Barker’s side, having played 17 league games.
However, the 25-year-old footballer has played a total number of 52 games across all competitions, weighed in five assists and contributed one goal ever since the promotion of the team to the Premier Soccer League in the 2018/2019 season.
