The Premier Soccer League (PSL) prosecutor Zola Majavu has revealed that Orlando Pirates have been charged for misconduct regarding the physical tussle with TS Galaxy chairman Tim Sukazi in December last year.
Sukazi was denied access to the Orlando Stadium change rooms before their 2-0 defeat in the DStv Premiership match.
A video of Sukazi being pushed and shoved by the Pirates security personnel, while his officials were also trying to force him through the door, went viral on social media.
“I can also confirm that Orlando Pirates football club was charged yesterday (Wednesday) and their matter has been enrolled for hearing at 14:00 on Wednesday, 26 January. This is in relation to the misconduct arising from the Chairman of TS Galaxy being denied entry into the stadium,” said Majavu in a media statement on Thursday.
