Former Bafana Bafana captain Dean Furman has signed with the eighth tier side of the English football league, Warrington Rylands from Altrincham FC.
The 33-year-old has previously played for Scottish Premiership side Rangers, English League Two side Bradford City, League One sides Oldham Athletic and Doncaster Rovers, and South African Premier Soccer League side SuperSport United.
“Last but certainly by no means least, welcome to Rylands FC Dean Furman,” read the club’s tweet.
“Dean possesses excellent technical ability, leadership and experience at the very highest level, boasting 58 international caps for South Africa.”
Meanwhile, Furman added: “Thank you Rylands FC. Great to be on board and looking forward to being involved in a big push for the rest of the season!”
