Zambia makes two additions into technical team

The Zambian national team bench has been boosted with the arrival of the physical trainer and the goalkeeper coach.

Physical trainer Hruose Matijevic and goalkeeper coach Gabric Tonol have arrived in the country and have already gotten down to work.

The two were part of a locally assembled Chipolopolo side’s training session at Lusaka’s National Heroes Stadium on Tuesday afternoon.

In an hour-long training session, Matijevic took charge of stretching and conditioning.

Head coach Aljosa Asanovic and his two assistants, Karol Prazenica and Stephen Ceravic (a video analyst ), then took charge of the session.

Zambia leave for Bahgdad tonight ahead of Saturday’s friendly match against Iraq.

The match against Iraq will be played outside the FIFA window and will feature an exclusive assemblage of local players that the coach wants to refine with his focus also on the African Nations Championship (CHAN) qualifiers set for June/July.
